Main research or activities topics

My research is focused on organ-on-a-chip development for biology and biophysics. In particular in collaboration with Danijela Vignjevic, we developed an original gut on chip that integrates both the stromal and epithelial compartments. We also developed generic technologies to compartmentalize hydrogels within microfluidic devices. Those technologies are in particular of interest in the tumor on chip studies (collaboration Maria Carla Parrini). We also engineer new models of kidney and muscle to decipher pathological mechanisms.
